This border had been heavily fortified since the end of the war, however the idea of a new war against the Paranisti sparked concerns as Terran waships departed their normal routes to investigate the strange fleet movements.

</noinclude>The Terran-Compact war was a conflict fought between the Greater Terran Union and the various members of a Federation by the name of the Compact. The war began in the year 2384 and ended in 2399, with a Terran victory.

Prelude:

After the end of the Algan-Terran war, the GTU was in a good position. With an established puppet state, the Palenian Republican States wich served as a buffer zone between the GTU and what would become the Compact.
